Pie Slice

I love pie and I think its crazy pretty so I wanted to do a little study of a blueberry pie piece. The back crust and one side of the pie isn't done yet, but this has definitely been really fun study!

Radishes with faces!

So I'm gonna start doing studies of lots vegetables with hand painted textures! I've been eating a bunch of veggies lately and I think that they are really pretty and interesting looking! Such colorful foods!

This is a WIP of the radish and I just really like putting little faces on vegetables and plants so I thought I would share in case anyone else also has a love of inanimate objects with weird little faces.

Mutant Girl ZBrush Paintover

Here's a quick paintover over of a ZBrush doodle I did of a mutant psychic four-eyed girl! This was fun! I'd like to do more ZBrush doodles then paintovers like this in the future!

Lili-Inspired Enviornment

 So this is a project I did for my 3D environment class at Ringling. The assignment was to do an enviornment inspired by a game. A chose the new iOS game Lili. My concept was to do a station where hot air balloons pick people up from and take them to their destination.

I feel there are some models and textures in this that are MUCH stronger than others. I feel the flowers, the wood platforms, and texture on the shelter are the strongest parts of this. Everything else kind of falls short for me. I would like to use those assets and bring them into another piece later with a smaller scope so I can make models and textures to meet that quality.

So now to come up with a concept for an environment where I can scavenge those pieces and use them in the new environment!

Tried out Pan Pastel while doing a quick face study from life! Fun stuff! Great for focusing on shapes and less on little details!
