Here is a short study I did of a log, rock and lupine flower in a handpainted style. Still need to go back and tweak some things, but here is the almost-there-WIP for now. I'd eventually like to make more assets and make a full scene with this!

Parisian Alleyway Modular Building Pieces
Here's a look at a Modular Building Kit I made influenced by Parisian alleyways. Still have some things to tweak with the buildings before it's portfolio ready, but for now I'm moving on to create some assets to populate the scene!

Concept for Blind Masked People
This is a concept for people who live in a world in which the Sun has become too bright, so they must wear a mask at all times to protect their eyes from the sun.
I'm going to do a concept for a higher caste male next. And maybe a few mask concepts.

Submission for Bioware Fan Art Showcase
So Bioware is showcasing fan art at Comi-Con, so I did fan art of Shale from Dragon Age: Origins.
Shale is a golem that used to be a dwarf lady. Basically the dwarves army used made Golems to strengthen their army, but in order to make a golem they needed a dwarf to sacrifice themselves and become a golem. Shale was the only female dwarf to volunteer to become a golem. You never see what she would've looked like a dwarf so I just made up what I thought she would look like.

Red Riding Hood Concept
Just click to see a larger version of the image!
So this is a concept for an re-imagining of little Red Riding Hood that has been floating around in my head for a while.
She's older than the classic Red Riding Hood, probably about 16 or 17. In this version of the story she would meet "The Wolf" at a masquerade ball. "The Wolf" would be a human, an older man that wears a wolf mask. Her weapon of choice is the lumber jack's axe, stolen from her and The Wolf's first victim. I started a concept for The Wolf, but I'm still messing around with his design, so that should be up eventually.
Re-imaginings are super fun. I'll probably end up doing a few more re-imaginings of classic characters.

Beginning of the Summer Shenanigans
Summer = More free time to WORK!
Summer is awesome because I get to work on whatever I want. And right now all I want to work on is Z-brush and digital painting. I really want to improve my digital art skills and things like that. But right now I'm focusing on Z-brush because I missed it so much at the end of the semester.
Right now I'm working a character that is basically Death. She is based on a tribe in Africa that paint their entire bodies like skeletons. Very cool.
Here are some concept and early WIP screenshots. If you want to see a larger image just click on it!
So far I've worked on the sculpt for about an hour. So I'm really still just blocking out the silouette. I'm excited to get her more fleshed out.
